The band Eleos was formed in the summer of 2014 and consists of six members (Mary Beth, Cassie, Sam, Josiah, Brad, and Jonatas) who are passionate about using their creative talents for the work of the kingdom. Inspired by fellow worship leaders Paul Baloche, Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Vertical Church Band, and Leeland, Eleos seeks to create music that worships the fullness and complexity of God. Using original lyrics, catchy melodies, and impactful rhythms, the band forms their music with the purpose of placing it within the body of the local church so that the fundamental truths of God’s love and mercy can be sung over and over again. Those who have heard it have called their musical style “unique” and “refreshing”. Eleos seeks to not fall into the trap of being generic that others have fallen into but rather provide music that is different, interesting, and impactful.
Their ministerial purpose goes beyond just their music as they stress that worship goes beyond just the songs that we sing or the prayers that we offer but that true worship encompasses our whole lives. They are actively involved with different organizations throughout the community. They have assisted in benefits for the COTA for Noel organization as well as the One Heart disability ministry. Their passion is people and the worship that we bring before God.
